From the CREW

This week I’m going to let the Crew speak for themselves. They are seeing God do wonderful things through their obedience in serving Him! He is working through them to change the lives of kids.  And He is working in their lives as well!

Here is what Crew have been experiencing so far this summer:

“I saw God give me the knowledge to teach the children about Him. This amount of work would have left me burnt out on the first day, if it wasn’t for God’s help. Instead, I felt like I gained energy as I shared about the Gospel. As someone who does not like speaking a lot, I am very grateful for God’s help by giving me energy to tell the children about him.”

“There was one kid at club who was maybe 6 years old, and he had trouble regulating his emotions sometimes. On the third day of club, when I was teaching the Bible Lesson and got to the Red Cross, he came up to me and put his hands on my shoulders. Then he finished my sentence by saying, “after Jesus died, he got back to life.” Even though this child had a hard time at club, God still used the Bible Lesson time, and showed me that this little kid understood the Gospel message.”

“There were 3 kids that came to club and they were the pastor’s kids. I was disappointed and thought that nothing would happen because of course they would all know theGospel. But on Tuesday when the father came to pick up his kids, he asked if his son told us what had happened last night. He then said that the son came home and talked about club and accepted Jesus for the first time!”

“A girl with very little Christian influence in her life was asking such deep amazing questions about God and the Bible and also loved to pray. I could tell God was really working in her heart, and she asked for a Bible so she could know God more and said thank you repeatedly for the Bible once she was given one.”

“God transformed my heart. Originally, when I began serving with the service team, my heart was hard and I didn’t find much meaning in doing the menial tasks. Now God has given me a servant heart and I’ve realized that serving with the service team is more than a burden; it is making sure everyone can continue serving as well”
