You know that camp ministry is a life changing experience that brings kids closer to Jesus.
At CEFOntario our vision is that God would use our camp, Camp Good News, to reach the unreached.
Whether it’s for kids who live in high-risk situations, are new to Canada, in family services, or just don’t have the financial means, we want to make the Christian camp experience a reality for them.
But this isn’t something we do on our own, we do it with the Christian community.

FAQ
How do you afford to do a week of camp for $200?
Almost all of our camp staff are volunteers which is a significant part of any camp’s budget. We also have generous supporters who donate food and other camp necessities. Having our own camp and conference center also helps keep the costs down.
Do campers have to pay anything?
We do ask campers to pay a $75 registration fee, however, we waive the fee if they are unable to afford it.
Can any child go to camp?
While any child is eligible to come to camp, with limited spaces available we prioritize kids who come from partnering churches/organizations who reaching kids in the community.
What makes Camp Good News unique from other Christian camps?
We have a high counselor to camper ratio so we can give the campers the attention they need.
-What kinds of things do you do at your camp?
In addition to the usual fun camp activities such as crafts, night games, electives and chapel, we also take a trip to Brant Park Conservation area to go swimming, and go rafting down the Grand River with Grand River Rafting!
