They’re always listening

They’re always listening

They’re always listening

Have you ever felt like the work you did with kids was in vain? I’m sure there are countless stories you can remember of kids not listening, being distracting, disobedient etc…

Sometimes, you might feel like, “What’s the point?”

Every once in a while God gives us a glimpse into the difference we’re making. Here’s a glimpse Yvette Hewitson recently received:

“There was a young boy who attended my Good News Club for over seven years.

This young boy always caused trouble, he was always distracting the class, not only in the GNC…but also his own class at school.

He was the little boy who always ended up in the principal’s office.

As years went by he was graduating grade eight. I hadn’t seen him for a year because we were in lockdown. I got a call from his mother, and his mother was laughing…she said, her son wanted her to phone me, to tell me, “Thank you for teaching me about Jesus,” because this young man now got 80-90% on his religion course.”

Keep planting faithfully. Keep sewing faithfully.

Whether you are able to give once, or monthly, we thank you for your unwavering support.
