Let Your Light Shine!

Let Your Light Shine!

Let Your Light Shine!

For God, who said, “Let there be light in the darkness,” has made this light shine in our hearts so we could know the glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6

Training wraps up today! It has been great to hear from the Crew about what God has been teaching them over the past two weeks.

The Crew theme verse (above) speaks of the God who created light. If He could speak light into existence, blotting out the darkness, He can certainly put that light in our hearts so we can know Him and shine His light for others to see.

Tomorrow the Crew will head out to their first week. Some will go to their first host home and prepare for the first week of clubs. Some will prepare for the first week of camp. And some will head home to prepare for their own church’s vbs.

Wherever they go, the light God has put in them will shine as He uses what they’ve learned at training to spread His gospel.

Continue to pray for the students to have confidence in what they’ve learned, a real love for the kids they’ll minister to, and an ever-deepening desire to follow Jesus.

This week the Outbound Crew are in:

Severn Bridge.                      Fonthill                        Whitby

Ottawa                                  Guelph                         Scarborough

The Camp Crew are counseling at Grounded Camp, a discipleship camp for older kids.

Pray for the Crew!

Pray for the Crew! We’ve been talking about trust, our theme for summer ministry this year.  Each year we trust God to bring us enough Crew for summer ministry.
