Lesson with Counterfeit Money: Authentic Values in a World of Fakes
A number of years ago I sat down with one of our summer missionaries and asked him why he kept coming back every summer. His answer, “Because I can’t think of anything more important that I could do with my time.”
Today that answer continues to resonate. Is there really anything more important that we could do with our time and resources than to reach a child with the gospel?
Reaching a child potentially:

Brings them into a life-giving relationship with God

Changes the trajectory of their life

Provides them with the opportunity to serve God with almost their entire life

Ends generations of darkness

Begins generations of life
The impact of reaching a child is exponentially larger than anything we could ever imagine!
When I became a Christian at the age of sixteen, I was the first in my family line. I’m so thankful that thirty years later, my oldest son, Brandon (who happens to be 16), chose to serve Jesus this summer. 
Could you imagine if every child we reached, every young person who served with us, would begin (or continue) generational lines that followed Jesus?
When you pray, when you give, you’re doing more than just reaching a child, you’re reaching every person they would come in contact with and the generations to follow.
