God is at WORK!

But Jesus replied, “My Father is always working, and so am I.” John 5:17

The Crew are busy getting ready for their summer of ministry. But while they work God is working too. He is preparing them for ministry of course, but He’s doing so much more!

Here’s what else is happening with the Crew:

They are forging friendships with each other, friendships that will continue to encourage them when they go home in August.  

They are developing a community of people who share their desire to follow God wherever He leads.  

They are strengthening their own relationship with God as they dive deep into His Word through chapel, classes, conversations, and devotional times.

They are developing skills that will help them in school. Things like essay writing, time management, public speaking and general study skills.

They are being stretched as they live in a community where they have to understand their differences, support each other, and forgive each other.

They are learning the importance of having fun together to rest from their work so they don’t burn out.

Keep praying for the Crew. God is working in them as much as He will work through them this summer! 

Why not let the Crew know that you’re praying for them? Send a note through youth@cefontario.org and we’ll make sure the Crew receive it. It will encourage them to know you are standing with them as they share the love of Jesus this summer!
