Between the Sundays: Fellowship

Between the Sundays: Fellowship

Between the Sundays: Fellowship

And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near. Hebrews 10:25

We all know that fellowship is central to the Christian life. Being with other believers encourages us and strengthens our faith. It’s vital to spiritual growth and it helps us worship. Being with God’s people can draw us to Him in worship.

As we reflect Christ in the way we treat each other, encouraging, loving, and helping others, we worship Him. We are drawn to God as we see how He is working in others’ lives. We can praise Him for what He’s doing, rejoicing with others in their joy and weeping with those who weep. (Romans 12:15)

When someone in your church receives an answer to prayer, something the church has been praying together for them, that whole church rejoices in worship to the God who answers prayer! God gave us community to strengthen us, and through that community there is an opportunity to worship that we just don’t have on our own.

Between the Sundays that can look like getting together with Christian friends, or going to youth group or a Bible study. It can also look like a CREW retreat!

This weekend some of our CREW are together at the Radiate Retreat. Pray that they’ll experience the worship of fellowship between these Sundays.

Keep Seeking the Kingdom!
